At the end of the day you want to be able to look back and say that you’ve helped someone too
Tom Neyhart, ColorTyme Franchisee

The ColorTyme Rent-to-Own located on Route 9 in Queensbury, New York is the first ColorTyme franchise to open in the area.

Tom Glogowski celebrated the grand opening of his first ColorTyme Rent-to-Own franchise with business partner, Tom Neyhart, whom he readily credits for helping him reach his goal.

The ColorTyme Rent-to-Own located on Route 9 in Queensbury, New York is the first ColorTyme franchise to open in the area. Glogowski and Neyhart are expecting their combined years of experience and expertise in the rent-to-own industry to spell success for their new venture.

Neyhart, who owns three stores in Louisiana, is committed to helping others who want to own franchises get a foot in the door.

"I wouldn’t be a ColorTyme franchisee today if someone hadn’t helped me out," said Neyhart. "At the end of the day you want to be able to look back and say that you’ve helped someone too."

Neyhart, along with his wife Lisa, have pledged to develop six partnerships with newcomers over the next 12 years. Their partnership with Glogowski is the first of the six. As a franchise owner, Neyhart said he is always looking for employees that exhibit leadership qualities and can be guided into store ownership.

"I’ve been in the industry for almost 20 years and I’ve always dreamed of owning my own business," said Glogowski, who grew up in the Saratoga Springs area. "I’m excited and looking forward to opening more stores and bringing new people on."

Saturday’s grand opening event was a day of food and fun for the entire family. After the 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting, local radio station Froggy 107.1 hosted live broadcasts from the store. Racecars from the Albany-Saratoga Speedway were displayed, and an Army recruiting officer brought a military Humvee for display. The highlight was a raffle for a SONY flat screen television.
